Mission / STTN ยท Chicago
Ensure the artist is heard.
A private art and sound showcase built around human music.
Signal Through the Noise is a moving common ground for DJs, artists, physical media enthusiasts, and listeners to groove in the same room. Together we elevate the sound of human music, as STTN guarantees every track played and every work shown is made entirely by people, not artificial intelligence.
Physical media is resistance.
Human artists speak a language which, through perceptive ears and eyes, is discernible from AI. Our mission is to consistently provide spaces for artists to fuel engagement, aggregate resources which help with such discernment, and document the live human experience of that engagement with our artists.
Commitment to Human Music
The commitment asks you, as a discerning listener, to keep choosing human music. Entry to an STTN night begins with your signature.
While detection is never perfect, intention is. Studies, patents, news, and founder notes in Resources.
